Routers & Switches

Gateway e RB Router Bridge is a very cost-effective and flexible way to connect your LAN to the Internet, HQ or Branch Offices. It integrates the functions of Bridge/Router with the WAN device. A choice of WAN Interfaces such as xDSL modems, E1 and V.35 Interfaces are supported. It can be ordered as 1 WAN or a 2 WAN device. The 2 WAN device can be used to connect to different remote locations from a central location. It also offers MLPPP for bundling of both WANs for a higher Bandwidth.

The Gateway e RB supports either an Ethernet Bridge mode or an IP Router mode. In the Bridged mode, packet filtering and forwarding is based on the Ethernet MAC address and a Self-Learning algorithm. This allows all Ethernet based protocols to be supported. No sub-netting of LANs need be done. Alternately, the IP-Router allows LANs in different sub-nets to be connected using IP based filtering and forwarding.

Management of the Gateway e RB can be through a Serial console, HTTP or built-in SNMP agent. Diagnostics can be performed using FP Switches & LEDs.

The Gateway e RB is offered in the following flavours for connecting the LAN segments over a variety of networks:

  • Gateway e RB/V.35: Equipped with a Single V.35/RS530 Synchronous serial port to connect to an external xDSL/MLLN modem for a max. of 2.3 Mbps
  • Gateway e RB/E1: Equipped with 1 or 2 G.703/E1 ports for a max. 2 or 4 Mbps (nx64Kbps) to allow connection to the PCM Network directly without the need for any interface converter
  • Gateway e RB/2M: Equipped with 1 or 2 G.SHDSL ports for a max. of 2.3 or 4.6 Mbps (nx64Kbps) for a distance of up to 6 Km (2Mbps on single port) or even further at lower speeds

The Port 4000 is a Secure Access Router with 4 WAN ports. It offers a choice of last mile access technologies such as SHDSL, E1, V.35 or Fast Ethernet. Bandwidth bundling allows high-speed access with redundancy. It offers redundancy over the WAN Ethernet Port using PPPoE Client and an external Ethernet Modem. LAN access is via a 4 Port Fast Ethernet Switch. The WAN Ethernet port can be used as for DMZ operation.  VPN support is useful for Branch connectivity over a Public Internet Service. The built-in Firewall offers comprehensive security while QoS features allows controlled congestion management.

The iPORT 4000 offers a choice of WAN ports for access via different service providers & technologies. The V.35 port with 8Mbps support can be used for access with ISP

communication equipment. The SHDSL Port allows 15Mbps over a single pair. Two such ports can be bundled for 30Mbps. The E1 & Ethernet ports are useful for locations where the carrier TDM or Ethernet networks are terminated at the Customer Premises.

The iPort 4000 complies with ITU K.20/K.21 specifications for protection against power surges. The iPort 4000 is offered in a rugged metal cabinet for installation in hostile environments.

The WiZ is an economical Wireless Access Device designed to provide full duplex data access for SCADA applications over the public wireless/cellular network. It supports a Serial data port or an Ethernet port to be connected to remote device such as RTUs, Data Loggers & Metering Units. The WiZ supports popular SCADA protocols such as: IEC 101 and IEC 104. It features various wireless modules to operate in a wide variety of networks: LTE/HSDPA/EDGE/GPRS/GSM & CDMA 1xRTT.

The WiZ/104 has an Ethernet port which provides connectivity to any Ethernet device including IEC 104 Remote devices for IEC 104 – 104 applications.

The WiZ/IG is a serial IEC 101 to IEC 104 Gateway for IEC 101 – 104 applications.

The WiZ supports PPP on the Wireless side with Static or Dynamic IP Addresses and PAP/CHAP Authentication. NAT is used to translate between private & public address while Port Mapping allows separation of data & management traffic. Optionally, the WiZ provides data security & authentication using IPSEC VPN & a Firewall. IPSEC also provides the convenience of working with the Dynamic IP addresses provided by the Telecom Service Provider.

The WiZ supports comprehensive management via a Serial Console. The built-in HTTP & Telnet servers accessible locally via the Ethernet port or remotely via the wireless network provide Fault, Config, Performance & Security management. ICMP ping & trace-route offer network diagnostics. All significant events are logged in an NVRAM & uploaded to designated servers via FTP periodically. The events are time-stamped with a clock derived using SNTP. A significant feature of the WiZ is the convenience of configuring using SMS from designated phone numbers as well as the convenience of receiving alerts over SMS

The WiZ is available in a variety of flavors suitable for different applications.

  • Gateway WiZ/G: GSM/GPRS, Class 10, Tri-band 900/1800/1900 MHz
  • Gateway WiZ/E: GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Class 10, Tri-band 900/1800/1900 MHz
  • Gateway WiZ/H: GSM/GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA, with 3G support @ 2100 MHz.
  • Gateway WiZ/L: GSM/GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA/LTE, with LTE support.
  • Gateway WiZ/C: CDMA 1xRTT, Dual Band 800/1900 MHz
  • Gateway WiZ/V: CDMA EV-DO, Dual Band 800/1900 MHz

The WiZ supports comprehensive management via a Serial Console.
